What's included
What is actually included in youroffice move?
An office move is a sequencing job before it is a lifting job. The heavy work is deciding what leaves first, what stays live until the last van, and what has to be switched on before your team walks in on Monday.
That is why we survey both buildings before we quote. The price covers the crew, the vans, the fuel and the drive, and it is fixed before you commit rather than revised once the job overruns.
Every job includes £50,000 of goods-in-transit cover as standard. We are not a marketplace and we are not a broker — the crew in your building is ours, on our own vans.
A survey of both buildings before the price is agreed
We walk the building you are leaving and the one you are moving into — the lift, the loading bay, the door widths, the turns on the stairs. The number comes from what we saw, not from a desk count over the phone.
As many vans and crew as the volume needs
Each Luton holds 20 cubic metres. An office move is rarely one van, so we size the fleet and the crew from the survey — and run it in waves where the building only allows one vehicle at the bay.
Everything labelled to its destination desk
Crates, screens and furniture are labelled for the room and the desk they are going to, not the one they came from. That is the difference between unpacking on Monday and sorting on Monday.
Wrapped properly, nothing stacked loose
Padded blankets over desks and cabinets, monitors wrapped with corner protection, and each machine's cables bagged and kept with it rather than pooled into one box.
£50,000 goods-in-transit cover
Included on every booking as standard. Nothing to tick at checkout and no upgrade to buy. Tell us at the survey if a single item is worth more than that so we can advise you beforehand.
Weekends and bank holidays at the same price
We work seven days a week, so the move can land where your business loses the least. Free cancellation up to 72 hours before, and you can change the date up to 24 hours before it.
How pricing works
How do we price youroffice move?
Volume, access, distance and timing. Nobody can price a business move honestly from a desk count over the phone, so we look at both buildings first and then fix the number.
Four things, measured at the survey
Access is the one that surprises people. A floor with a bookable lift and a loading bay can hold twice the volume of a walk-up and still be the shorter job, because the carry is what costs the day rather than the number of desks.
- Total volume of desks, storage, IT and stock in cubic metres
- Access at both buildings — lift or stairs, loading bay or street
- Driving distance between the two addresses
- Whether the move runs across a weekend or a working day
No hidden variables
A weekend move costs the same as a Tuesday one, which matters more for a business than for a household — it means the cheapest date and the least disruptive date are the same date. The same formula applies to every job we run.
- No weekend or bank holiday surcharge
- No peak season mark-up in summer
- No fuel surcharge added at the end
- No stair charge or access fee on the day
Fixed price. No hidden charges, ever.

The furniture is the easy part. The items below are the ones that decide the sequence, so they are the ones we ask about first.
Desks, chairs and pedestals
The bulk of most office moves. Desks come apart where they have to and go back together at the other end, and pedestals travel with the desk they belong to.
Filing, archive and shelving
Cabinets, racking and archive boxes. Heavy and awkward is the normal case here rather than the exception, so it is planned into the crew size at the survey.
Printers, plotters and copiers
Usually the heaviest single items in the building and the ones most likely to need the lift booked in advance. Tell us the models at the survey.
Server and comms cabinets
These need their own plan and your IT provider in the room. Raise them at the survey rather than on the day — they change the sequence more than anything else in the building.
Monitors, docks and desktop kit
Wrapped and corner-protected, with each machine's cables bagged and kept with it. Disconnecting and reconnecting stays with your own IT team, who hold the passwords and the network config.
Canteen, breakout and reception
Sofas, tables, fridges and dishwashers. White goods need emptying and defrosting before we arrive — water in a machine cannot ride safely in the van.
What actually happenson move day?
Five stages, and the first two happen well before a van turns up. Most of what goes wrong in an office move goes wrong in the planning, not in the lifting.
We survey both buildings
Before anything is booked. The lift and whether it can be reserved, the loading bay and whether it needs booking, door widths, stair turns, and what has to be working first thing on Monday.
A sequence is agreed in writing
What leaves first, what leaves last, and what stays live until the final van. Comms and IT usually come down last and go back up first, so your team is not waiting on a network.
Everything is labelled before it is lifted
Each crate, desk, chair and screen carries the room and desk it is going to. The crew at the new building is reading those labels, so they are written for the destination.
Wrapped, loaded and driven
Blankets over furniture, screens wrapped and corner-protected, cables bagged with their own machine. As many vans and as many waves as the building and the bay allow.
Set down where it belongs
Desks in position, chairs at desks, crates at the right desk rather than in a pile by the door. You come back to a floor that is laid out, not one that needs sorting first.
Where do we movebusinesses from?
Our yard is on Rolling Mill Road in Jarrow, so the whole of Tyne and Wear and County Durham is a short run. We cover moves up to roughly 150 miles.
