Can you move just one piece of furniture?

Yes — single-item moves are a normal part of what we do, with no minimum order. You can book one sofa, one wardrobe, or one mattress from the quote tool. The price is calculated from the item's size and the distance, so a small piece going across town will be priced very differently from a large unit moving regionally.

Do you move white goods like washing machines and fridges?

Yes. We move washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, fridges and fridge-freezers. They just need to be disconnected and emptied or defrosted before we arrive — water in a machine or food in a freezer cannot ride safely in the van. The crew will dolly the unit out to the van and load it upright.

How do you protect furniture during the move?

Every piece is wrapped in heavy-duty padded blankets before it goes into the van, with extra straps on anything tall or top-heavy. Glass shelves and TV screens get bubble-wrap and corner protection. The van is loaded so nothing can shift in transit, and every move is covered by £50,000 of goods-in-transit insurance as standard.

Can I book a same-day furniture collection?

Sometimes — it depends on driver availability and how busy that day is. Same-day slots show up in the quote tool when they exist; if they don't, you'll see the soonest available date instead. For guaranteed same-day work, give us a call and we'll check whether a route can be reshuffled.

What areas do you cover for furniture removal?

We cover the whole North East from our Newcastle base, including Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, South Shields, Whitley Bay and the wider Tyne and Wear region. Flat-pack furniture that has already been assembled travels best taken apart — if you can dismantle it the night before, load time drops and your price stays lower.
