We move everything from a single sofa to a full living room or bedroom set. There is no minimum order — if you need one wardrobe moved across Newcastle, that is a perfectly normal booking.
Heavy items like fridge freezers and washing machines are fine as long as they are disconnected and emptied before we arrive. The crew brings a dolly and straps for every job — nothing gets dragged across your floor.
Flat-pack furniture that has already been assembled travels best taken apart — if you can dismantle it the night before, load time drops and your price stays lower.

Five things that make collection day go smoothly
None of these take more than ten minutes the night before — but they make a real difference on the day. The crew can load faster, your price stays lower and nothing gets damaged.
Empty every drawer and shelf
Clothes and small items shift in transit and add weight. Empty everything the night before — it also protects your belongings.
Disconnect white goods the day before
Washing machines need emptying, fridge freezers need defrosting overnight. We cannot move them with water inside.
Clear a straight path to the front door
From the furniture to the door — move rugs, shoes or anything blocking the route. It speeds up load time significantly.
Write down any access notes
Gate codes, parking instructions, which floor the lift stops on — have these ready when we call ten minutes before arrival.
Be at both addresses when we arrive
Someone needs to be at the collection address to let us in and at the delivery address to confirm where everything goes.

Can you move just one sofa or one wardrobe?
Yes — and we do it every day. One item is a completely normal booking. The price is based on the cubic size of the item and the distance. No minimum order, no awkward conversations.
Do you move fridge freezers and washing machines?
Yes — as long as they are disconnected and emptied before we arrive. Fridge freezers need defrosting overnight. We bring a dolly and load them upright so the compressor stays safe.
Will my furniture get scratched or damaged?
Every piece is wrapped in heavy-duty padded blankets before it leaves the room. Glass and screens get bubble-wrap and corner guards. Every move is backed by £50,000 goods-in-transit cover as standard.
Can I get a same-day furniture collection?
Sometimes — if a driver is available that day the slot will show up in the quote tool. If not, you will see the next available date. We never promise same-day and then let you down on the morning.
Will the price change when the van turns up?
Never. The price you see at the end of the quote is the price you pay — full stop. No fuel surcharge added at the door, no stair charge sprung on you, no hourly rate ticking in the background.
